In this book, I have collected techniques and methods that helped me in my personal battle with depression. I can say that they are universal because they have undergone a strict selection among many approaches I am familiar with. In the end, only truly effective techniques and methods remain. Interestingly, the most effective results came from the simplest techniques, which do not require any special knowledge or training.
I tried to write this book as honestly as possible — without sugarcoating, in simple language, and without complex scientific terms, so that you can focus not on theory, but on the tools themselves that really help.
The world today moves at a relentless pace. Events replace one another in an instant, and we try to keep up — but most of the time, it’s impossible. The amount of work, information, and expectations has long exceeded our physical and emotional limits. The result is burnout, fatigue, loss of motivation, and the feeling that each day is lived on autopilot.
In this book, I share the methods I’ve tested myself — daily practices and simple techniques that truly work. My goal is to help you see where your energy is being wasted and to learn how to recharge, so each day can be lived with vitality and inner balance.
My name is Evgeny Gadukov, and I live and work in the Netherlands. I received my psychology education at college and university, where I studied developmental psychology, higher nervous activity, group psychology, and psychophysiology. In addition to academic training, I focused on practical areas — neuro-linguistic programming, as well as courses and workshops on psychology, personal effectiveness, and self-development.
